Do I Have To Register An Account?

Registering an account is optional. You have the option to create an account or checkout as a guest.

However, when you do create an account, you are able to view your order history and save your details for faster checkout on future purchases.

Where Do You Deliver?

We offer delivery to your door in Gaborone and immediate suburbs of Gaborone. Alternatively you can arrange to collect from our depot in Gaborone.

Should you reside elsewhere within Botswana, you can arrange your own courier or transport to collect from our depot.

How Much Is Delivery?

There is no additional delivery fee, but in order to qualify for delivery or collection in Botswana Gaborone, the minimum order value must be P 2,500.00

The advertised price includes delivery to Gaborone. Note there will be an additional documentation fee charged at checkout. This is to pay for the services incurred during the import of your products. This is a nominal fee.

Should an order exceed 10kg in weight, we reserve the right to increase the shipping cost accordingly. We will communicate these changes with you for prior approval.

What if my order value is less then P2,500? 

Speak to us if you want to order something below the P2,500 order value. We can assist you, it will only mean that we will need to quote you a separate delivery fee.

Why is there no VAT when I checkout?

You still have to pay VAT as determined by Botswana law. But you only pay the VAT prior to taking delivery of your order.

Once your order has arrived in Botswana you will be contacted by our shipping partner, who will request you to make the VAT payment prior to collection or delivery depending on what you opted for.  

How Quickly Will I Receive My Order?

On average you can expect to receive your order within 7-12 business days from the day of your order being placed and paid. This excludes Saturdays and Sundays.

This is different for every product so please read the "Ships In" details included on every product page.

Other exceptions include custom made products where you need to allow an additional 14 business days.

You can find the expected dispatch time for specific products on their respective product pages.

Can You Expedite My Delivery?

If you need your order delivered quicker than our standard delivery service, an Express Delivery Service can be arranged at an additional surcharge. Please contact us prior to placing your order.

How Do I Track My Order?

We will email you a tracking link once your order has been dispatched. You can also contact us to track it on your behalf.

Can I Return My Purchase?

Yes, if you are not happy with your purchase you can return it , but only within 15 days of receipt.

Please note before you purchase, that unless the product was incorrectly supplied or damaged on delivery, the return cost of transport to our Head Quarters in South Africa, will be for your own account.

The following basic conditions must be met when returning product:

  • Products are returned unopened, in their original packaging, and in a sale-able condition.
  • Additional packaging material must be added to protect the item during transport. In the same fashion as it was delivered.
  • Proof of purchase needs to be presented should we request it.
  • In the event of a product supplied correctly and returned for refund, the refund will be processed less the cost of the return transport. 
  • Refund approval is subject to a final inspection once received back in our warehouse in South Africa.

Custom made products are not refundable.

What If I Ordered The Wrong Products?

We will take back the products for a full refund within the first 15 days of receipt.

The return cost of transport to our Head Quarters in South Africa, will be for your own account.

Our products carry a 12 month warranty from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.

Can I Change My Order Once I've Submitted It?

Yes. However, it is advisable to change your order as soon as possible to avoid delaying your order.

Please contact us to amend your order. We will try to accommodate your request as best we can.

Payment Security

All payments made to Livecopper are processed through your preferred payment method as selected by yourself on the payment options page. No information regarding your payment is stored by Livecopper.

It is advisable before making an online payment, that you have an anti-virus program installed and that it is up to date. A recent, thorough malware scan on your PC is also recommended. Zapper is an easy to use mobile payment option that requires you do download and install the Zapper app from the Apple or Play store

After selecting Zapper as your payment method and clicking complete your order, you will be redirected to the Zapper website where you simply scan the automatically generated QR code and confirm the payment amount is correct.

It takes seconds from start to finish.

Regrettably we do not accept cheques as payment. Please make use of our other payment options.

How quickly will I receive my delivery?

"Ships in" Time + Delivery Time = When you will receive your delivery

Please note that we only process orders that have been paid for.

To understand the overall time you should allow for your delivery to arrive, keep 3 processes in mind

Firstly allow for the "Ships in" time as advertised on every product page, to prepare the product prior to the dispatching thereof.

Secondly allow for travel time between South Africa and Botswana. 

Thirdly allow for the import/export documentation to be put in order. 

On average we strive to get your order to you within 12 business days.

Delivery Terms and Conditions

The good news is that we deliver to your door anywhere within Gaborone and immediate suburbs of Gaborone. You also have the option to collect your order from our depot in Gaborone.

So anyone from within Botswana can order from Livecopper.

You can arrange your own courier to collect from our depot in Gaborone if you prefer.  

Funds need to clear in our bank account before we treat your order as confirmed.

Since there is a process of foreign exchange involved, payment can take as long as 5 business days to reflect in our bank account. Please keep this in mind if you are working on a tight deadline.

We do not accept cheques payments.

There is no additional fee for delivery. Our advertised selling price includes delivery. There is a small documentation fee that you will see during the checkout page. This fee is to cover the import/export services offered by customs at the border.

 Should an order exceed 10kg in weight, we reserve the right to increase the shipping cost accordingly. We will always notify you of any changes in advance and for your prior approval.

To track your order(s), please click here to be taken to the Triton Express Track and Trace form, where you simply enter the waybill number we provide you and you'll be able to track where your order is.

Please note that it may take a few hours for your tracking number to be updated on their website.

Return Policy & Product Warranties

We offer a 15 day returns policy:

If you are not happy with your purchase within the first 15 days of receipt, you are entitled to return your products. We do not accept returns after the 15 days period.

In order for this to be applicable these basic conditions must be met:

• Products are returned unopened, in their original packaging and in a saleable condition.

• Proof of purchase needs to be presented should we request it.

Refunds are processed subject to a final inspection once received back in our warehouse. The 15 day window starts counting from the calendar date the order was physically received by you as the customer.

Who pays for the return transport?

Goods correctly supplied, but incorrectly ordered or you have changed your mind: We will take back the goods for a full refund only within a 15 days period of receipt. The return transport to our sales headquarters in South Africa is for your own account.

Goods correctly ordered, but incorrectly supplied: We will collect the incorrect goods, and replace them with the correct goods. In this event the transport cost will be paid for in full by Livecopper. Prior to a refund or replacement, goods will be inspected to ensure that they are received back in the original packaging. Livecopper reserves the right to decline any refund or replacement of goods, if the products are not returned in the original packaging and in the original condition supplied.

Transport cost in relation to a faulty product: In this event and only if the product is still within the Warranty, Livecopper will cover the cost of the collection and replacement transport thereof, provided that the product meets our replacement criteria. If the product is faulty due to abuse, or misuse outside of its intended environment, the transport cost will be recovered from the value of the refund prior to reimbursement. Returns Procedure: In the event of a return, your courier service provider must return the goods to our sales headquarters in South Africa.

The Livecopper Warranty is applicable to all products that can be purchased on www.livecopper.co.bw .

The Warranty is valid for a 12 month period from date of purchase. Proof of purchase has to be supplied by the original purchaser.

The Warranty entitles the bearer to a replacement of the same product. Should an identical product not be available Livecopper reserves the right to replace it with a similar product at the same or higher value.

Where a Livecopper supplier has an extended Warranty for a period longer than 12 months, we will honor the said Warranty in keeping with the supplier's terms and conditions up to a maximum of 2 years from date of purchase.

Replacement Warranty: Livecopper reserves the right to repair or replace a product with a similar product at the same or higher price, where the original product is no longer available.

If the product is returned within the first six months from date of purchase, the product has to be returned in the original packaging.

Return for refund, or replacement of a product, outside of a Warranty will not be entertained.

Time frame around the processing of a Refund: We have a 10-15 business day turn-around time for the processing of your refund.

We allow approximately 7-10 business days for the journey of the return to arrive back with us. A further 2-5 business days are allowed for internal processing and for the funds to be reversed back to your bank account. 

We reserve the right to decline a refund if the purchase is older than 15 days, excluding a Warranty claim.

We recommend that Electrical and Plumbing products always be installed by a qualified tradesman.

Livecopper will not be held liable for damages, or a loss of income, incurred as a result of but not limited to, product failure, missed deadlines, incorrect product supplied or any other cost incurred as a result, other than the physical replacement and transport cost of the said product.

Products supplied by Livecopper always need to be utilized in a way or manner that it was originally designed to perform under. Furthermore exception applies to select products, whereby a product cannot be replaced in keeping with the replacement warranty, and has to be tested prior to a replacement or a refund is issued. This generally applies to products that have electronic circuitry, but not limited to. This type of product is susceptible to damage from power surges, for example electrical storms, and is outside of the control of Livecopper, or its suppliers.

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("the Terms and Conditions") govern your ("the User") use of the www.livecopper.co.bw ("Provider") website located at the domain name www.livecopper.co.bw ("the Website"). By accessing and using the Website, the User agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out in this legal notice. The User may not access, display, use, download, and/or otherwise copy or distribute Content obtained on the website for marketing and other purposes without the consent of the Provider.

Competition & Giveaways - Please note that prize winners of any competition or giveaway, will need to claim their prize within 7 days of being announced, or forfeit their claim.

Product Promotional Vouchers - If you receive a promotional voucher enter the code displayed on the voucher at the checkout process. The value will be deducted from your overall purchase total. Vouchers and promotional offers have expiry dates, use them before it is to late, or pass them on to a friend or family member.

By using this Website or communicating with the Provider by electronic means, the user consents and acknowledges that any and all agreements, notices, disclosures, or any other communication satisfies any legal requirement, including but not limited to the requirement that such communications should be in writing.

The Website www.livecopper.co.bw sells electrical and other related products online. The use of any product bought from this Website is at the purchaser's risk. The purchaser/ user indemnifies and holds the Provider harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Website.

The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely the User's personal information and credit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the Provider and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product.

The Provider undertakes that it has taken all reasonable precautions to secure the credit card processing that is carried out to receive payment for goods sold. The Provider cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User's electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.

Credit card transactions will be acquired for the Provider via PayFast (Pty) Ltd. If you opt for credit card payment, you will be redirected to the payfast gateway.

PayFast uses the strictest form of encryption, namely an extended validation SSL with 256-bit encryption. Only two of the four major South African banks use this, the highest, level of encryption currently available, as well as 3D Secure for all credit card transactions. Users may go to www.payfast.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

The Provider takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Provider reserves the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the User's obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates.
